The Daily Logo Challenge - Zip Cloud

We’re becoming better designers and joining thousands of designers worldwide doing it too!

The Daily Logo Challenge is a website that sends notifications to us with a fun new logo design challenge.  We thought it would be a great idea to create a website design instead of a logo, after all, a change is as good as a rest. This allows our team to expand on styles for all of our design services. It is excellent practice, and additionally,  it keeps our design skills sharp, which results in faster completion times and great new work for our portfolio.

Zip Cloud, a revolutionary cloud computing solution for all businesses and individuals. Zip Cloud offer huge savings to big packages, therefore, they wanted to accelerate their brand and its presence online.

With no existing brand image, we set out to create a modern identity for Zip Cloud using a minimalistic approach to the colour scheme. To showcase the brand, we worked on a design for the website that would welcome online traffic, providing an authentic feel for the website that showcases the industry and brand colours. Website features included, but are not limited to: Pricing cards, contact forms, blog and social media integration.

This website is now fundamental to the business and vital to any campaigns produced.

Responsive design is the combination of flexible grids, flexible images, and media queries. It allows the Zip Cloud website to adapt to the device the users are viewing it on. It saves time, it saves money, and best of all enables the user to access the content the way they love.

A website wireframe, also known as a page schematic or screen blueprint, is a visual guide that represents the skeletal framework of a website. We created wireframes when starting the planning aspect of Zip Cloud’s website; these were for the purpose of arranging elements to best accomplish the home page design.
